The Story: 

It’s 1942 and 2 of Hollywood’s biggest Divas arrive at the Palm Beach Royale Hotel—assistants, luggage, and a legendary feud in tow.  Mistaken identities, overblown egos, and a lap dog round out this hilarious love note to classic farces of the era.​

Characters:

  • BERNARD S. DUNLAP - General Manager of the Palm Beach Royale Hotel & Spa.  

  • CLAUDIA MCFADDEN - America's beloved matron of song. Diva. Larger than life.  

  • ATHENA SINCLAIR - A great star of stage and screen. Diva. 

  • MURPHY STEVENS - Athena's personal secretary. 

  • MR. PIPPET - Claudia's personal secretary. Jumpy. Must be comfortable working with a dog on stage.                                 

  • DORA DEL RIO - A gossip columnist. Quintessential reporter.  

  • MRS. EVERETT P. OSGOOD A society matron and president of the Palm Beach Ladies for Unity; a bit daft. 

  • FRANCIS - A bellhop. Romantic scenes. 

  • OTIS - A bellhop.
