Front of House
As a Front of House Volunteer for our community theatre, you'll play a key role in making our patrons feel welcome and comfortable. Responsibilities include ushering guests to their seats, serving drinks at the bar before the show and during intermission, and checking coats. No experience is necessary—we will provide all the training you need.
You're not required to stay for the show, but if you’d like, you can enjoy it for free! It’s a fun and rewarding way to support local theatre and meet new people.

Box Office
As a Box Office Volunteer, you’ll be an important part of the team, greeting patrons with a smile, dispensing tickets, and handling cash or card transactions. No experience is needed—we will provide training to ensure you're comfortable with the role.
You’re also under no obligation to stay for the show, but you can enjoy it for free if you’d like! It’s a great way to support local theatre and meet new people.

It's an opportunity to collaborate with passionate individuals who share your love for the arts while gaining valuable leadership and decision-making skills.

Membership
Becoming a member of Trumbull New Theatre offers a truly rewarding experience as you actively contribute to a vibrant, all-volunteer community theatre. Membership includes free access to workshops when available, early and exclusive access to certain volunteer opportunities, and two complimentary tickets when involved in a production. You also gain the ability to help shape the theatre’s future by having a say in its direction and even running for board positions. To join, simply attend a meeting (see our calendar on our homepage to for dates), volunteer at least once, and pay annual dues of $15 (or a one-time fee of $150 for permanent membership).
